Pathogen Scan Services
In early 2025 SGS launched our partnership to deliver Pathogen Scans covering bacteria, virus and fungi for your controlled environment agriculture business, greenhouse facility and row crops. These services fit into a maintenance testing program and can identify crop disease and plant pathogens. Our lab helps with crop health through identification and detection, as example root rot. NEW for 2026! We have launched updated Pathogen Scans covering bacteria, virus and fungi for your controlled environment agriculture and field crop business, including viability (live vs dead) reporting. These services fit into a maintenance program, can identify target pathogens (ToBRFV, Fusarium, CGMMV), and investigate the complete genome of algae, nematodes, amphibians, fish and eukaryotes. Two of the key pathogens we launched are Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit virus (ToBRFV) and Fusarium species for Pepper Wilt! Many more, so do inquire with us.

1) Pathogen Identification
HH Pathogen ONE:
Uses qPCR technology for detecting bacteria, fungi, and fungal-like organisms. Select one fungal or bacterial pathogen.
HH Pathogen ONE (Virus):
Uses RT-qPCR technology for detecting viral organisms such as ToBRFV, CCMMV, and PepMV. Select 1 virus to be tested
HH Alive & Dead Option:
Add to Pathogen ONE to see the ratio of living to dead cells. This option detects a growing list of plant pathogens for their viability
2) Pathogen Scan
HH Fungal Scan:
Uses advanced DNA sequencing technology for scanning 400+ fungi, fungal-like organisms and oomycetes.
HH Health+:
Improved package includes all pathogens in the Fungal scan plus all bacteria. Beneficial organisms are also included. Individual add-ons are available.
HH Health+ Add-ons:
Chose from insects, plants, algae, nematodes, amphibians, fish, eukaryotes.
HH Health+ Complete:
A Multi-Kingdom scan that covers all bacteria, fungi, protists, plants, and insects.
